“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.” Matthew 24:35
Principals Corner
Ever wonder what your future holds? Experts say that in 20 years we won’t write our signatures on legal documents. In stead we will be known for our iris prints, fingerprint, or voice pattern.
We won’t visit video, record, or software stores. We’ll order what we want through an ear piece and microphone inside our wrist watches.
Baldness will thin out, since doctors will know how to make scalp hair grow follicles. We won’t go gray, either. Diabetics will say goodbye to insulin, as doctors will implant healthy islets of cells into the pancreas.
Plastic wrap will be replaced by a “bioplastic” made from cornstarch.
The same experts expect that the Super Bowl will still be around, as will the pencil, the earliest forms of which date back to the ancient Greeks. Books, money, passenger jets, and baseball are also expected to be a part of our lives. On the down side, traffic congestion, noise, poverty, and death will be here too. Another guarantee I can give you for the year 2027, if we’re still on Planet Earth: God’s Word will still be true.
The future can be scary with all the changes that will take place, but knowing God and His Word doesn’t change. Makes me feel safer, how about you?

Thank you to all of our work bee volunteers! We appreciate you coming and giving your time to help spruce up our school. We had volunteers fixing a leaky roof, weeding flower beds and the playground, washing windows, replacing light bulbs and covers, and weeding the front paved area as well as many other tasks. Much was accomplished and we all greatly appreciate your help!
Mother’s Day Plants
In appreciation for all Mothers/Grandmothers, HMS Richards is offering a “Sponsor a plant” program. This is a special way to honor your Mother/Grandmother and beautify the HMS Richards School. Please fill out the donation form and return in an envelope, along with your donation, to the HMS school or Campion church office by so the messages may be listed in the church bulletin on May 19. Sports 2007-2008
In planning ahead for the 07/08 sports year at HMS, we would like the children and parents to drop a list by the office, or e-mail to principal@hmsrichards.net, their suggested sports that the kids would like to participate in and sports that parents would be willing and able to coach.
Thank you!
