James 1:17 ”Every good gift and every perfect gift…..cometh down from the Father of lights.”
Principals Corner
In science they are studying about light and I found four facts about light and the Heavenly Father.
When I switch on a light, the darkness disappears instantly. Where does it go?
Fact 1: Light travels 186,282 miles (or seven and a half times around the world) per second. To our eyes it’s poof-and the room is filled with light. And the darkness must leave.
The same thing happens with god, the Father of lights, and s Satan, the father of darkness. God’s light in you heart makes darkness flee.
Fact 2: Sunlight is the combination of seven colors, like a rainbow. The bible calls seven the perfect number, or “complete.” God makes us complete if we ask Him.
Fact 3: There are two kinds of light: direct, as from the sun, or reflected, as the moon, a reflected light that allows others to see God in us.
Fact 4: We could not live without sunlight. No food to eat! No plants to produce oxygen to breathe! God’s sunlight shines on the young and the old, the rich and the poor, the good and the bad. He can’t help it. He loves the creatures He made so-o-o-o much.
At HMS we have a theme song.
“Into my heart,
Into my heart,
Come into my heart Lord Jesus.
Come in today,
Come in to stay,
Come into my heart Lord Jesus.
Out of my heart,
Out of my heart,
Shine out of my hear Lord Jesus.
Shine out today shine out always,
Shine out of my heart Lord Jesus.
My prayer is that Jesus will fill each of our hearts and then His love shines out to all that we meet each and every day.
