“What no one ever saw or heard, what no one ever thought could happen, is the very thing God prepared for those who love Him.”  1 Corinthians 2:

Principal’s Corner
I would like to say that it was wonderful to see the children again after being gone so long.  On Monday we started a new year, a new quarter, and a new semester.  That is a lot of new things happening at one time.  But it is a blessing that we all have a new beginning with our Lord and Savior.  As we start this new year I pray that in the near future we will celebrate a new beginning in a new world with Jesus as our Leader and Teacher.  I have often wondered what heaven and the new earth will be like. I have a story that might help illustrate what heaven could be like.
“Ya gotta see it! It’s out of this world!”  What was my friend talking about?  A pink-and white 1958 Plymouth with rocket ship fins.
In 2007 a 1958 Plymouth is ancient history, like a Model A or a Hudson.  Not too many around in working order.  Most have been crushed and recycled into newer cars also described as “out of this world”.
What’s out of this world to me?  A  P.C. that translates my thoughts into hard copy?  A cellular phone that replicates dinner?  Here’s a list of five ideas that would be out of this world.
     1.  A slice of chocolate cheese cake with hot fudge pecan sauce-sugar-free, calorie-free, and packed with Vitamin C and it would taste great.
    2.  Swimming with dolphins.
    3.  Having a whole house full of parrots that thought of me as their Alpha bird.
    4.  Snow boarding down Mount McKinley.
    5.  Playing hopscotch on the moon.
What would you include in your out-of-this-world list?  According to today’s text, no matter how crazy our Ideas are, we haven’t seen, heard, or imagined how wild God’s plans are for us.  His ideas are totally out of this world.

May God bless us as we get ready for an out-of-this-world eternal vacation with Jesus.
