“How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are.”  1 John 3:1

Principal’s Corner
Kelli loved her Barbie dolls.  She loved to dress them in their fancy clothes and take them to pretend parties.  She and her friend Jolene would play on the lawn for hours with their Barbie’s.  Kelli’s Barbie’s had nicer clothes, drove snazzier cars, traveled to more exciting places, and lived in fancier town houses than could be imagined-well, almost.
One day Kelli packed her Barbie’s and all their clothes and furniture into cardboard boxes, labeled the boxes with a felt-tip pen as “Kelli’s Barbie’s,” and stored them in the basement.  She’d outgrown playing with her Barbie’s.
God’s love isn’t like that with us.  I am so thankful that He never outgrows us, never gets tired of us, and never packs us away in some dark corner of the universe to create something newer and more beautiful.  His love is literally out of this world.  Beyond the Energizer bunny’s ability to keep going and going and going, our heavenly Father’s love for His children will keep going and going and going through all eternity.

This week take the time to thank God for His unending love and then share it with those you meet.
