ASC & ASI Policies

November 8, 2006
Dear Parents,

It has come to our attention that there is a need to clarify and reinforce the policies concerning ASC (after school care) and our ASI (after school Intramurals) programs. The policies are as follows;

ASC is a privilege and is being offered as a benefit for our school families. All children should be picked up at dismissal time, 3:30. You are given a 15 minute grace period in which to pick up your child and not be charged for ASC. After this 15 minute grace period, or if you have previously notified the school, your child will be signed into the ASC program and a $3.00 minimum charge, for 1 hour, will be given. After the 1st hour, the charges will be broken into 15 minute intervals of 75 cents each. All HMS handbook rules apply to the ASC program.

ASI is a privilege and is being offered as a benefit to our school families. This program is being run by generous volunteers. Only children that have signed a sports consent form with their parents may attend the ASI program. If any child enrolled in the ASI has a sibling that is not eligible or is not enrolled in the program, the non participating sibling must either be picked up from school or enrolled in the ASC program.

It is our hope that these programs are of a benefit to our school families, and that everyone enjoys them.

In His service,

Carl Acker & Susie Braman
